Western Technical College is known for making a relevant, high quality education affordable for students on all career pathways—those transferring to a four-year program and those pursuing diplomas, associate, and technical degrees.

Tuition is calculated per semester credit and varies depending on the program. Fees support a variety of services that enhance student life, from supplies associated with various learning experiences to student programs such as the Wellness Center and primary health care services available on campus.

Cost of Attendance

The estimated Cost of Attendance (COA) is a budget that includes categories of expenses that a student can expect to incur while attending college, including tuition/fees, living expenses, books/supplies, transportation, and personal expenses. The COA does not reflect actual charges. It is an average based on the estimated living costs typical of our region. Per federal regulations, a student’s total financial assistance may not exceed their COA.

Refer to this COA document to determine your estimated student expenses.
