Students ill be introduced to the various types of surface mounted devices (SMD's) which will include surface mount resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, and integrated circuits. Students will learn the proper procedures associated with the removal and placement of surface mount components. They will also learn how to use the special tools associated with surface mounted devices.
