AQIP - Academic Quality Improvement
In September 2000 Western was selected as one of thirteen charter organizations to participate in an alternative accreditation process called AQIP (Academic Quality Improvement Project). AQIP is designed to align accreditation with an organization's program of continuous quality improvement and is a component of the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association (NCA).
By joining AQIP, Western's current status of accreditation will continue through 2007-2008. As part of the partnership agreement with AQIP, the College has been and will continue to be involved in a series of activities related to AQIP.
