Alternative Test-Taking Assistance
The Academic Success Center provides testing rooms:
- for students with documented disabilities
- for students who have taken the Learning Styles Inventory and have an ASC recommendation along with instructor permission
- for students with a documented emergency
All students must present a photo ID before testing.
Students who test need to bring Western student ID and a pencil and/or pen.
All testing must be completed by 3:45 Monday through Thursday and Friday by 3:15.
Children are not allowed in the ASC at any time.
Instructors sending students to test in the ASC need to:
- read the ASC Test-Taking Policy
- fill out ASC Test Referral Form with all necessary information for administering test
- attach one Test Referral Form to each student's test
- attach Scantron if needed
- bring test to the ASC, send through campus mail, or slip under ASC door
