Lean Essentials - The Certificate Series Waukon, Iowa

Partnership Brings Lean Opportunity to You

A grant opportunity has created a unique partnership between Western Technical College, the 7 Rivers Alliance, Northeast Iowa Community College, and Allamakee County Economic Development, in bringing the region together to learn about Lean. Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota companies are welcome to attend.

The Community-based Job Training Grant issued by the US Department of Labor to Western Technical College is bringing no-cost training to you, right here in Iowa!

Why Lean?

Lean manufacturing is changing businesses around the world through techniques that translate directly into bottom-line profits. It is not uncommon for manufacturers to save $10,000, $100,000, or even more by implementing simple Lean manufacturing techniques.

The Lean Essentials Certificate Series is designed to help you and your company learn about the Lean philosophy and implement the Lean process into your workplace.

How do you get Lean?

The Lean Essentials Certificate Series takes you through the process step by step and class by class. The five required courses will give you the information and hands-on training you need to implement Lean.

Courses are taught by trainers who know Lean inside and out. They bring real-world experience to the classroom. They will inform and engage you. They will challenge you to think Lean.

Lean Certificate

A Lean Certificate is issued by Western Technical College when all five seminars have been completed.
