What can Career Services do for you?
Career Services offers assistance to students from the very beginning of their educational experience, throughout their time at Western and even after graduation as alumni. If you're unsure about what field you want to go into, or even what career options are out there, Career Services is a great place to start. We offer various career assessments and helpful advice on navigating the sometimes overwhelming amount of career-related information that is available in print and on the web.
A large percentage of our resources are available online, including the career assessments FOCUS 2, Discover and the Wisconsin Technical College Career Interest Questionnaire but you are welcome to come in and use our lab to complete assessments, check out career sites and resources, or to talk to a trained professional about labor market information or how to map out a career plan that's right for you. Career Services is also your connection to finding jobs while in school and once you graduate. Register now.
Career Planning Resources
Often times, incoming students are unsure of exactly what career they want to pursue. It can be helpful to spend some time discovering your personal interests and abilities in order to find a program area that matches your unique strengths.
Below are some on-line assessments that can be helpful with that process.
