Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug Use
Students who are concerned about their own or a friend or family members alcohol, tobacco or drug use may receive consultation, assessments, short term counseling, or referral services to community resources to help address their issues.
A counselor is also available to provide "BASICS" (brief alcohol screening and intervention for college students) which is a two session program designed to reduce alcohol consumption and related complications that are associated with alcohol. During BASIC meetings, students will develop their own plan to moderate drinking and achieve their goals.
