Foundation Events
Camp W
Twice each year, Western Technical College Foundation, in La Crosse, WI., hosts Camp W, a youth-enrichment program designed for students in grades 4-6. It is held on a Saturday morning in both the spring and the fall semesters and lasts from 8:15 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Courses are developed and presented by our volunteers and can include everything from building toolboxes to maneuvering around in wheelchairs, making beaded work to taking pictures, or just clowning around. And while some of the classes correlate to an academic program offered at the college, some are designed just for fun.
No matter which classes they choose, Camp W gives youth the opportunity to improve or discover new basic skills and explore special interest in a unique educational setting at a college campus.

Distinguished Alumni
Western's greatest source of pride is the personal and professional achievements of its alumni, those who have gone on to distinguish themselves in their personal and professional lives, representing the best that Western has to offer. Recipients are selected based on demonstration of the following:
- Dedicated service to the community or nation
- Leadership
- Personal growth and achievement
- Professional achievement
- Contributions to the Western district

Annual Golf Outing
Join us for a day of golf, food, fun and fellowship at the annual Western Technical College Foundation Golf Outing to support student scholarships. Golf at picturesque Cedar Creek in Onalaska, Wisconsin. A social and dinner follows with a chance to win great prizes in the raffle drawing. This event is open to the public.
