Paying Tuition and Fees

Within 14 calendar days from the date of registration or before the first day of class, whichever occurs first, you must either

  • a. Pay tuition in full
    OR
  • b. Pay $50.00 and submit a Credit Agreement Form to the Cashier's Office.
    Form and payment must be received in the Cashier's Office each semester.

For those students signing up for the credit agreement installment payment plan, the remaining balance is due as follows:

  • Fall and Spring Semesters: 50% of tuition is due on the 30th calendar day of the semester and the remaining 50% balance is due on the 60th calendar day of the semester.

  • Summer Semester: 50% of the tuition is due on the 15th calendar day of the semester and the remaining 50% balance is due on the 30th calendar day of the semester.

You can pay your tuition online, by mail, or in person at the Cashier’s Office.

Online

Students are able to make payments online by logging onto the MyWestern portal. You may use electronic check, MasterCard and VISA debit/credit cards. Payment instructions are available below and at MyWestern.

Mail-in

Mail-in payments are also accepted. Send your payments to the address below.

Please include your student number on the check to ensure the payment is applied correctly to your account. Do not send cash through the mail.

In Person

Payments may be made in person to the Cashier’s Office located in the Welcome Center, R-163 on the La Crosse Campus. The Cashier’s Office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. After 4:00 p.m., payments may be placed in the drop box located at the corner of Sixth and Vine Streets. Payments can also be made in person at any of our extended campuses at Black River Falls, Independence, Mauston, Tomah or Viroqua. Each location accepts cash, personal checks, MasterCard and VISA debit/credit cards.
