Where can my credits take me?
Western has articulation agreements with a number of four-year colleges and universities that allow you to take some or all of your credits and transfer to a baccalaureate program. While some institutions allow you to take your associate’s degree and transfer directly into a four-year institution at junior standing, some institutions only accept a certain number of occupational and technical credits. The number of transfer credits varies with each agreement at each institution. Check with college or university you are interested in transferring to in order to verify the program and number of credits that will transfer.
Associate of Arts/Science Degrees
Western has partnered with UW-Baraboo/Sauk County, UW-Richland, and Viterbo University to offer Associate’s degree programs. These are collaborative degrees consisting mostly of General Studies courses taken at both Western and the other campuses. You can then transfer your credits to either the University of Wisconsin System or Viterbo University respectively. Tuition is blended and financial aid is available for these programs.
