Green Pledge/Raffle 2011
The Green Pledge promotes that being green can be as simple as making four daily choices. The card lists 10 simple choices that staff can choose from and commit to doing at work. It only asks that individuals choose four areas to focus on. Contact Shannon Havlik if you would like to take the pledge today!
January Winner: Connie Hoveland Belden
February Winner: Karen Gleason
March Winner: Elizabeth Wood
Community Partnerships
Western seeks to give back to our communities through community service, engagement, and partnerships. It is important to promote sustainability outside of our institution.
Students, faculty, and staff can make tangible contributions that address sustainability challenges through community engagement. This can help students develop leadership skills while deepening their understandings of practical, real-world problems.
Get informed & involved in your community's sustainability efforts with some of these partner organizations.
