  • In the Western District, 1 in 5 high school seniors come directly to Western after graduation. Three years after graduation, 1 in 2 enrolls at Western.
  • According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the most significant job growth this decade will be in the area of an associate’s degree. They project 32% growth.
  • Western has more than 60 programs to choose from.
  • Students get hands-on learning not only in the classroom, but in the community through service learning projects.
  • Students have the opportunity to bring some of their high school credits with them, saving them time and money.
  • Transfer agreements exist with a number of universities around the country, giving students the chance to start here and go elsewhere.
  • Scholarships are provided to nearly 300 students each year.
  • Western has four NJCAA athletic teams: Women’s volleyball and basketball and Men’s basketball and baseball.
