How Healthy is Our Campus?
The Live Well Student Committee uses the National College Health Assessment (NCHA)
to collect data about students' health habits, behaviors and perceptions.
The Wellness Center offers many opportunities for physical activity including group
fitness classes, personal training, intramural sports and more.
Eating healthy provides your body with the nutrients and energy it needs to function
properly. Nutrients provide the necessary energy to keep your brain active and
ready to learn.
Alcohol, Tobacco, Other Drugs
Western recognizes the link between student success and low-risk drinking and other
drug choices. Personal Alcohol and Other Drug Additions (AODA) counseling services
are available through the Counseling Center.

relationship violence, stalking, and sexual assault. This resource can help you
make decisions and seek out the help you need in order to feel safe.
Stress is the physical and emotional "wear and tear" that our bodies experience
as we adjust to the constant change in our lives. Coping with the effects of stress
is different for everyone.
The Alcohol eCheckup to go will provide you with feedback about your individual drinking patterns and risk patterns.
