Western offers holiday food and drink sampler party

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Western Technical College will be hosting the 17th Annual Holiday Food and Drink Sampler Party on Wednesday, Dec. 5 from 11:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m. in the Kumm Center cafeteria on the La Crosse campus.
This event features a variety of hors d’oeuvres as chosen by student managers Kelly Longmire and Gisela Pett, second-year students in Western’s Culinary Management program’s Catering class. Menu items will include: carved glazed ham, pulled pork sandwiches, hot wings, fruit and vegetable variety platters, Russian Cream dessert, and pumpkin rolls. Beverages include Virgin Marys, Perky Party Punch, and Coffee Amaretto.
The Holiday Party is open to the public and free for Western Technical College students. Guests are encouraged to donate $1 to help defray costs of the event. Between 300-400 people are expected to attend this year’s celebration.
