Western offers business & industry seminars for March at BRF Campus

Western Technical College’s Business and Industry Services Division is offering a workshop at the Black River Falls Campus.
“Creating High Impact Documents” will be held Tuesday, April 22, from 9:00 a.m. –Noon, with instructor Emily Baures. Businesses and organizations are using electronic communications more and more. The medium is changing, but the need for good writers remains the same. This session will help refine writing skills by focusing on the writing process. Participants will learn to compose clear, concise sentences that convey meaning, predict reader response, and plan the logical order of messages. This hands-on session will include practice writing e-mails, memos, and letters appropriate to your specific workplace. Cost is $72.
