Western Technical College is holding a dance party featuring Salsa dancing and live music on Thursday, April 30, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Kumm Center TC Café, 400 6th St. N., La Crosse. The event is free and open to the public, courtesy of Western’s Student Government and the AODA Sub-committee.

The evening will start with Salsa dancing from 7:00-7:45 p.m. A dance instructor will be present to show people the proper technique, and people of all skill levels are encouraged to participate.

At 8:00 p.m., the band Scratch Track will provide entertainment with acoustic, hip-hop soul music. Based in Kansas City, the band is currently touring college campuses in the upper Midwest. The band’s resume includes soundtrack slots including “CSI-New York,” the snowboarding film “off the Grid,” and Sony Playstation’s MLB video game, along with a performance creit on the Trick Daddy/Ludacris/Cee-Lo collaboration’s tune “Sugar (Gimme Some).”
