Western offers introduction to SQL

Western Technical College’s Business and Industry Services Division is offering the seminar “Introduction to SQL” on Friday, May 22, from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., at the La Crosse Campus.
SQL (Structured Query Language) is a computer language for accessing and manipulating database systems. This seminar is designed for analysts, developers, designers, administrators, and managers new to SQL. Participants will learn database fundamentals, including relational database architecture, database design techniques, and simple and complex query skills. Additional topics include join techniques, database objects and constraints, and how to write useful SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE statements.
