Western offers business seminar to improve communication

Western Technical College’s Business and Industry Services Division is offering the seminar “Improve Communication Using DiSC®” on Tuesday, Sept. 29, from 9:00 a.m.-Noon, at the Tomah Campus, 120 East Milwaukee St.
The DiSC is a model of human behavior that helps people understand themselves in relation to others. DiSC can help organizations build productive teams, develop effective managers, train a sales staff, reduce interpersonal conflict, and improve customer service. The behavior dimensions of Dominance, influencing, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness make up the DiSC model and interact with other factors to describe human behavior. Participants will gain understanding of themselves and strategies for using DiSC to improve communication with all styles.
