Western students conduct food drive for WAFER

Western Technical College students are collecting donations for WAFER, a local food pantry, as part of their first-year Seminar class. The collection is a Service Learning project, which combines community involvement with continued education.
Collection boxes will be available now through Tuesday, April 26 in various locations on Western’s La Crosse campus, as well as in the community. These locations include:
Western’s Kumm Center, 7th St. entrance
Western’s Coleman Center, 304 6th St. N., first floor hallway, near room 110
Western’s Welcome Center, 400 7th St. N.
Quillin’s on Mormon Coulee Rd.
Midwest Family Broadcasting, State and Second Sts.
Onalaska Legion, 731 Sand Lake Rd., Onalaska
Area residents are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items as well as toiletries. Monetary donations are also accepted.
