Chinese exchange teachers to visit WWTC

LA CROSSE, Wis. - Western Wisconsin Technical College (WWTC) has coordinated a series of events aimed at promoting diversity. The first event features two high school teachers from La Crosse’s sister city of Luoyang, China, and will be held Tuesday, March 22, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. in room 102 of WWTC’s Kumm Building, 400 6th St. N., in La Crosse.
Teachers Zherui Wei and Rongzhen Wu currently teach Chinese at Logan and Central High Schools as part of an exchange program with Luoyang, China. At the WWTC event, they will speak about their experiences teaching in La Crosse and compare the U.S. educational system to that of China. They will also take questions from the audience.
The event is free and open to the public.
