LA CROSSE, Wis. - The Board Appointment Committee of the Western Wisconsin Technical College (WWTC) district will hold a public hearing and meeting at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, April 11 in room 221 of the WWTC Administrative Center, 111 North Seventh Street in La Crosse.

The purpose of the hearing/meeting is to review applications submitted for consideration for three openings on the WWTC District Board. The following candidates must be present and be interviewed to qualify for appointment to the Board: Neil L. Duresky, 2921 Concord Pl., La Crosse; JoAnne Ehasz, W7468 Leigh Rd., Mauston; Sarah (Sally) G. Lister, N6570 Riverview Rd., Black River Falls; Mary M. Rohrer, 3416 East Ave. S., La Crosse; and James T. Shilling, 120 N. Grace St., Sparta.

No names other than the above will be accepted from the floor at the time of the Board Appointment Committee meeting.

Immediately following the public hearing, the Board Appointment Committee will approve a Plan of Representation that gives equal consideration to the general population distribution within the District and the distribution of women and minorities within the District. The Plan will be the basis upon which the appointments to the District Board will be determined.

The Board Appointment Committee, at this meeting, will appoint three of the above-named persons to three-year terms on the WWTC District Board.
