Western Wisconsin Technical College has developed programs that will allow participants to earn an associate’s degree while continuing to work full- or part-time. Information sessions about two of the programs will be held Wednesday, June 15. The public is invited to attend these free events.
A session discussing Supervisory Management will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in Room 102 of WWTC’s Business Education Center, 405 8th St. N., La Crosse. This program is designed for people interested in acquiring or improving managerial or supervisory skills with a business emphasis. Supervisory Management is offered in an accelerated learning format, meeting one evening per week as a cohort group. Cohort means the students will attend classes with the same team from start to finish. Classes will meet at the La Crosse Campus on Thursday nights. This program can also be completed through online courses. Both options are available in the fall.
The Accounting After Hours information session will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in Room 111 of WWTC’s Business Education Center. The AAH program provides students with the foundation in theory and practice for entry-level positions as accountants. The cohort classes will meet on Monday nights at the La Crosse Campus beginning this fall.
