Published on Thursday, October 27, 2005
The Western Wisconsin Technical College Parent Child Center will host their third annual Holiday Happening on Saturday, Nov. 12 from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Center for Childhood Education building, 419 9th St. N., in La Crosse.
A fund-raiser for the center, the event features arts and crafts, gift items, cookbooks, and children’s art as well as vendors.
The whole family is invited to attend this free event. An activity room will keep children busy with games, crafts, and face painting while parents browse the booths. Lunch and snack items will also be available for purchase.
Proceeds from the Holiday Happening will be used to purchase new toys and curriculum items for the center.
The Parent Child Center is a nationally accredited child care center for children ages 1-7 years. The center provides child care to children of WWTC faculty and students as well as the public, and it serves as a lab environment for WWTC’s Early Childhood Program participants. In conjunction with the La Crosse Public School District, the site also provides preschool services.
