Published on Friday, February 17, 2006
Western Wisconsin Technical College will host a College Transfer Open House on Thursday, Feb. 23 from 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. in the Kumm Center Cafeteria on the La Crosse campus. This event is free to attend and open to the general public.
The Open House provides graduates, students, parents, and future WWTC students the opportunity to speak with four-year colleges to learn about existing transfer options. Representatives will be available to discuss 2+2 agreements, allowing two-year college associate degree graduates to transfer to four-year colleges and universities with junior-year status. Representatives will also talk about program transfer options, which allow students and graduates to transfer some or all of their college credits from WWTC programs.
Colleges represented at the event will include: Capella University, Cardinal Stritch University, Franklin University, Milwaukee School of Engineering, St. Mary’s University,
UM-Crookston, Upper Iowa University, UW-Eau Claire, UW-La Crosse, UW-Platteville,
UW-Stout, Viterbo University, and Winona State University.
