WWTC Parent-Child Center to host open house & developmental screening
Published on Friday, March 03, 2006
The Parent-Child Center on the Western Wisconsin Technical College La Crosse campus will be holding an Open House, Tuesday, March 21, from 3:30-6:30 p.m. A developmental screening for 3 and 4-year-olds will be conducted from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Parents interested in fall enrollment are encouraged to tour the center and learn more about this childcare option.
Serving children ages 1-7, the Parent-Child Center is used by WWTC students and staff as well as by the general public. All members of the teaching staff hold degrees in Early Childhood, and students in WWTC’s Early Childhood program use the center as a lab to do activities with the children.
In addition to childcare, the center is a recognized site for the 4-year-old preschool program developed in partnership with the La Crosse School District. It is also accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
