Western Technical College’s Business and Industry Services Division is offering the seminar “Improve Communication Using DiSC,” on Tuesday, May 23, from 9:00 a.m.-noon, in Room 200 of Western’s Academic Resource Center, 400 7th St. N., La Crosse.
The DiSC Profile is a model of human behavior that helps people understand themselves in relation to others. It provides a nonjudgmental language for exploring behavioral issues across four primary dimensions of personalities: Dominance, influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness (DiSC). The goal of the workshop is to introduce participants to this model, which will assist organizations in building productive teams, developing effective managers, training sales staff, reducing interpersonal conflict, and improving customer service.
