Western Technical College’s Business and Industry Services Division is offering an introduction to Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices (ICND). The eight-day training is scheduled for 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, June 19-22, and Monday-Thursday, June 26-29, at the Cisco Academy on Western’s La Crosse campus.
Cisco ICND focuses on using Cisco Catalyst switches and Cisco routers connected in Local-Area Networks (LANs) and Wide-Area Networks (WANs) typically found at small to medium network sites. Participants will gain hands-on experience and be able to select, connect, configure, and troubleshoot the various Cisco networking devices. ICND is recommended training for individuals seeking certification as a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
