Western Technical College will host “Western Open House … the Essential Information on Going Back to School,” on Wednesday, July 12, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the Kumm Center Cafeteria, 400 6th St. N., La Crosse. The event will give non-traditional students an opportunity to learn more about Western and the programs that will be offered in the fall.
“With an average student age of 27, we have a large population of returning adults,” said Jill Pein, recruitment specialist at Western Technical College. “Some of them are re-entering the workforce, some are looking to advance or change careers, and others are just pursuing lifelong learning. This event will present all the options that are available.”
Western representatives will be on hand to answer questions about programs and services. Information on financial aid opportunities and admissions procedures will also be available.
The public is invited to attend anytime during this free, two-hour event.
