Western Technical College’s Business and Industry Services Division is offering a series of workshops and training opportunities for area businesses.

“Introduction to Solution Selling” will be held Tuesday, Dec. 5, from 9:00 a.m.-Noon, at Western’s La Crosse campus. This seminar is the first in a series designed for anyone striving to improve their effectiveness as a salesperson. In this introductory session, participants will learn the concept of Solution Selling and leave with techniques for applying solution selling in their sales environment.

“The Effective Facilitator: Maximizing Involvement & Results” will be held Wednesday, Dec. 6, from 9:00 a.m.-Noon, at Western’s La Crosse campus. This seminar is designed to help participants get maximum results from meetings. This interactive session covers the role of the facilitator and how it differs from other roles, eight steps to planning an effective meeting, when and how to use ice-breakers, and intervention techniques that will allow all participants to be heard.
