Western Technical College is sponsoring an evening of food, coffee, and entertainment featuring Karl Friedline singing “A Century of Songs.” The event will be held Wednesday, Dec. 6, at the Common Grounds Coffee House & Theatre, 1102 Superior Ave., in Tomah. A light dinner social will begin at 6:00 p.m. and entertainment starts at 6:30 p.m.

Friedline has played in the Rosewood Trio, Grumpy Old Men, and in many other groups in the greater La Crosse area. He is a past Oktoberfest Festmaster in La Crosse. He brings a unique perspective and will involve the audience as he travels the pathways of songs of the century.

Admission is $7 at the door. Western Technical College students can attend free of charge, although a non-perishable food donation for the area food pantry is encouraged.
