Western offers information session on management course

Western Technical College offers a Supervisory Management program that will allow participants to earn an associate’s degree while continuing to work full-time. Information sessions about the program will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 7, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Western’s extended campuses in Black River Falls, Independence, Mauston, Tomah, and Viroqua. The public is invited to attend.
The Supervisory Management program is designed for people interested in acquiring or improving managerial or supervisory skills with a business emphasis. Students learn about varied topics, including safety, diversity, project management, team building, quality, legal issues for supervisors, and leadership. Classes can be taken online or in an Interactive Television (ITV) blended format at the extended campuses.
