Western Technical College will be hosting the spring session of Camp W-Kid’s College on Saturday, March 22, from 8:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Western’s La Crosse Campus.

Twice each year (fall and spring), the college hosts Camp W, a youth enrichment program designed for area children in grades 4-6. Western faculty and staff volunteer their time and talents to give area children the opportunity to explore special interests in a unique educational setting.

Courses can include everything from virtual surgery to woodworking, basketball or just clowning around. And while some of the classes correlate to academic programs offered at the college, some are designed just for fun. Students can choose up to three classes to attend throughout the morning.

Cost is $24 for three classes. To register, complete a Camp W form online at www.westerntc.edu/campw. Payment can also be completed online. Classes fill quickly, so early registration is encouraged.
