This course is a practical study of the fundamentals of DC electricity with a major emphasis on the required knowledge for a Diesel/Heavy Equipment technician. The basic principles of DC electricity will be covered. Inspecting, testing, diagnosis and repair of major components in the charging and starting systems will also be covered. There is extensive hands-on work which will reinforce the concepts learned.
