An introduction to planning and writing programs for computer numerically controlled milling machines using G and M code. Participants will write basic programs for CNC (Computer Numerical Control) milling machines, proof programs, and run programs in CNC machine tools. Learners will set up workpieces in machines, enter programs, set tool offsets, enter cutter compensation, and complete part projects. Programming basics will include multiple tool programs, macros, cutter compensation and canned cycles.
