Program Overview

The Supervisory Management program is designed to meet the increasing demand for trained leaders in the workplace. The program is ideal for people interested in acquiring or improving their leadership skills and the courses are taught by business professionals with real-life, hands-on business experience.

This program is available online or at our campuses in La Crosse, Tomah, Mauston, Black River Falls, Viroqua and Independence. Curriculum is structured to allow students to remain employed while attending classes on a part-time basis. Our flexible course offerings allow you to plan your classes around your schedule, even if you work full-time.

You can choose the option that is best for you. All core program classes are accelerated 7-week, 3-credit courses that can be taken online, ITV-blended in the evening, or face-to-face in the evening.

Students will increase their skills in leadership, communications, team building, employee motivation, creative problem solving, performance management, coaching, managing priorities, building productive working relationships, conducting effective meetings and many more supervisory leadership techniques and tools. Students will gain knowledge in technical areas including project management, quality management, safety and legal issues.

All types of organizations (manufacturing, government, healthcare, service-oriented) require skilled supervisors. The Supervisory Management program meets this increased demand.
