Program Overview

Modern protective services require personnel that are knowledgeable, dedicated, and able to keep pace with rapid technical and social changes in modern society. This program prepares students for various positions in the criminal justice system. Courses enable students to gain new insights into the challenging career opportunities available in the fields of law enforcement, corrections and security.

The Wisconsin Department of Justice Law Enforcement Standards Board accredits the program. Graduates can be eligible for certification upon employment as a law enforcement officer or jail officer at the local level.
