Program Overview

Our Associate Degree of Applied Science in Criminal Justice has been designed as an interdisciplinary program to help you develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities required of contemporary criminal justice practitioners. Course work will provide an overview of criminal justice along with many related contemporary social issues. Students can pursue specialization alternates in law enforcement, corrections, and security. Each of these specialization alternates emphasize the requisite entry-level occupational realities of these fields and will provide basic managerial philosophies and strategies required to be successful in today’s workforce. Our program has transfer agreements with a variety of local universities for those who desire to pursue a bachelor’s degree.
