The Office Support Specialist program provides training and skill development in communicating with others (written and verbal), working in groups, formatting and editing documents, and using word processing, spreadsheet, database, desktop publishing, and presentation computer software.
Because the work done by office staff is essential to the success of all types of organizations (public and private), graduates are employed in varying sectors of the work force that include government offices, insurance companies, schools, banks, manufacturing firms, and medical settings.
