Program Overview
A variety of credit courses are recommended by Western to meet the requirements for the YoungStar Quality Rating and Improvement System. Child Care Providers may choose from many of the Early Childhood Education (ECE) courses in the program. Courses completed with a grade of C or better are transferrable into the ECE associate degree program at Western. Course completion, however, does not represent admission to the Early Childhood Education program. Students choosing admission to the ECE associate degree program must submit an application for admission and meet program acceptance requirements.
