A student may audit a course for no credit. The course must be marked "audit" at the time of registration or during the scheduled drop/add period and will appear as such on the student's transcript.
A student who audits a course must meet the attendance requirement in a course but is not required to complete assignments, take examinations, or meet other class requirements. The same fee is charged as for a credit course.
A change in course status from audit to credit, or credit to audit, may result in a change in financial aid eligibility. Be sure to contact the Financial Aid Office before adjusting credit status. You must register in person to audit a class.
