Service-Learning Coordination

The service-learning site is designed to assist the college and community to post their service-learning opportunities and needs. Community agencies that would like to partner with a Western course or courses would list their opportunities and needs on the Community Opportunities page. Faculty who desire to partner one or more of their courses with a community agency would post their opportunities and needs on the College Opportunities page.

The opportunities pages will be updated whenever the coordinator is notified by the posting entity that the opportunity is no longer available or a new opportunity is identified. An electronic form for the community or faculty can be completed to submit your opportunity for posting. Your opportunity will normally be posted within 24 hours of receipt. Exceptions are holidays, weekends and when the college is closed.
