Wellness Center Membership
The Wellness Center is open to students, staff, alumni, retirees and community members. When you join the Wellness Center you are entitled to use the facility during any and all hours of operation. The gym may be used for fitness classes, intramurals, special programs etc. Please refer to gym schedule for availability.
Membership Rules & Regulations
Membership Application
Becoming a member is fast and simple. All you have to do is complete a membership application form, sign a liability waiver, and pay the membership fee at the time of joining. Members must be at least 18 years old to be permitted to use the facility.
Facility Access
To keep our facility healthy and growing, membership dues need to be paid on time. It is not fair to those who do keep their memberships current to be forced to share equipment, facilities, or program space with those who do not. It is a Wellness Center policy to submit your college identification or membership card upon entering the facility. If your membership is current you will then be able to enter and enjoy the full services of the facility. If your membership has expired, the Wellness Center may ask you to submit payment or ask you to leave until payment has been received.

Methods of Payment
Cash or check only. Sorry no credit or debit cards. Gift certificates are available.
Annual Memberships
If you wish to become a Wellness Center member at the most economical rate, the annual fee is your best option. You may pay for your annual membership using cash or check. Payroll deductions are available for Western employees. Credit cards are not accepted.
Monthly Memberships
Although this form of membership may not be the most economical, it is offered as a convenient payment plan.
Cancellation
In the event you become permanently disabled or move to a new residence more than 75 miles from the Wellness Center, we will cancel your membership upon 30 days written notice, and refund the unused portion of your membership. Should you become temporarily disabled for more than 30 days, we will extend your membership for the period of your disability.
Program Changes
The management of the Wellness Center reserves the right to change, without notice, any membership and program fees.
