Esports | Western Technical College

Esports is a form of sport competition, often taking the form of organized multiplayer video game competitions between players, individually or as teams. Western is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association Esports (NJCAAE) where student-athletes compete against other junior college student-athletes.

Whether you are new to gaming or an experienced gamer, Western’s Esports team is for you. With our Esports coach, student-athletes will learn how to play specific games, learn new strategies and have fun while doing so! Students with 12+ credits are eligible, and students don’t need to be on the La Crosse campus to participate! Students can use their own gaming consoles to take part in Esports at Western.

Contact Coach Murphy at to participate in Esports at Western and compete for an opportunity to be named National Champions.
