La Crosse's annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration will take place Monday, Jan. 18 at 7:00 p.m. on Viterbo University's Facebook page. This year’s featured speaker is civil rights activist Rev. William Joseph Barber II, the co-chair of the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival, a movement launched by Martin Luther King Jr. in 1968 that strives to gain economic justice for all Americans.
