Western Partners to Offer Basic Computer Classes

BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis., Sept. 14, 2016 – Western Technical College in Black River Falls is partnering with a community volunteer, Betty Althaus, to offer free basic computer classes for beginner level computer users. Classes will be held at the Black River Falls location, 24 Fillmore St., and are open to the public.

Starting now and through the fall term, Mondays from 1:00-2:00 p.m., learn how to use the computer and become comfortable with using a computer. Once you have completed Monday’s classes, attend the classes on Tuesdays from 1:00-2:00 p.m. to learn the basics of Microsoft Office and some information on using a digital camera to upload photos.

Althaus represents Happy Computer and gives out a certificate to participants who complete all of the material.

Reservations are necessary, as space is limited, and can be made by calling Althaus at 715-896-9544.
