Your Support Makes a Difference
Starting students on the road to success represents an important investment in western Wisconsin. Financial access to higher education becomes increasingly difficult as public aid diminishes, tuition increases and the cost of childcare, textbooks, transportation, and living expenses make it harder for many to attend college. For more information on how YOU can help support students.
Established in 1972 to support and promote the mission and well being of Western Technical College and its students, the Western Foundation is an independent, tax-exempt, 501 (c) (3) charitable, nonprofit organization. Since inception, total assets have grown to more than $3 million, with the Foundation ranking among the top fifteen percent of successful foundations for public two-year colleges throughout the nation.
Brick Campaign
We all want a way to leave our mark on the world. Consider leaving your footprint at Western by purchasing a brick that will stand as a permanent testament in the main courtyard between the new Lunda, Coleman, and Kumm Centers. This is your opportunity to memorialize a friend or loved one; honor a teacher, child or parent; celebrate a special achievement; recognize your business; create a lasting memory of your time on campus; or congratulate a recent graduate. Building a Legacy
The future of education and training is being built room by room in the Lunda Center on Western’s La Crosse Campus. Several extraordinary people and businesses have already provided support to help build the legacy. Why not you? By contributing to the Lunda Center, you know that you are making a difference in the lives of current and future Western students who live and work in our communities. It is in the Lunda Center where they will receive the state-of-the-art training they need to improve their skills and help make area businesses grow and thrive. Isn’t that a legacy worth building?
