Activities will include a social with campus and department tours from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. starting in the Kumm Center; lunch from 1:00-2:00 p.m. in the Kumm Center cafeteria; and program reunions from 2:00-4:00 p.m. in the program classroom areas. Historical exhibits on the progression of the Family and Consumer Sciences programs will also be on display in the Kumm Center cafeteria throughout the event.
“Western has held smaller program reunions in previous years, but this is the first reunion for the entire Family and Consumer Sciences division,” said Sally Emerson, alumni relations director. “These programs have been an important part of the college since it was founded in 1912, and we would like to honor the graduates and staff who have been a part of this history.”
