Wisconsin Act 63 will soon require licensing for individuals installing electrical wiring. Western Technical College’s Business and Industry Services Division is offering Electrical Exam Prep Training to help participants develop the critical thinking skills needed to pass the licensing exam. The training will take place Wednesdays, Sept. 16-Nov. 4, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. in the Lunda Center on Western’s La Crosse Campus, 319 7th St. N.
Students will review basic electrical principles and code requirements drawn from the 2008 National Electrical Code. The emphasis will be on using Comm 16 and the 2008 National Electric Code to solve exam-type questions.
