Western students offer massages as fundraiser

Before you take on that turkey, relieve pre-holiday stress with a massage from Western Technical College Therapeutic Massage students. Students are rubbing for a reason as they offer massages to the public on Tuesday, Nov. 24, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in room 129 of the Coleman Center, 304 6th St. N., La Crosse. A $5 donation will garner a 15-minute massage with proceeds benefitting the La Crosse Community Thanksgiving Dinner.
“Students benefit from the hands-on experience, participants benefit from a relaxing massage for a great price, and the community benefits by having a little extra money to cover expenses of the free thanksgiving dinner,” said Jeanne Johnson, Therapeutic Massage instructor. “What more could you ask for?”
Walk-ins are welcome any time during the event. For more information, contact Johnson at 608.785.9253 or firstname.lastname@example.org. To learn about additional Western Technical College programs and services, call 608.785.9200 or visit the Web site at westerntc.edu.
