Western Technical College’s Lifelong Learning Department is offering the course Healing Touch-Level 2 for Health Care Professionals and Others Committed to Healing. The 18-hour training will run Friday-Saturday, Sept. 17-18, from 8:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. at the La Crosse Campus.

This course is the second level in Healing Touch International (HTI) Certificate Program. It is for students who have completed Level 1 and wish to increase breadth and depth in the study of Healing Touch. It offers 17.5 continuing education contact hours of instruction, and includes an intake interview, back techniques, and a one-hour healing sequence. A strong commitment to personal growth is required. This course is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCMTB) as a continuing educator approved provider and is approved for nursing continuing education by the American Holistic Nurses Association.

The HTI Healing Touch Certificate Program is a nursing education program for registered nurses, health care professionals, body-oriented therapists, psychotherapists, or other licensed health care professionals and individuals who desire an in-depth understanding of healing work that uses energy-based concepts.
