For the past several weeks, Western Technical College Automotive and Diesel Skills USA Club students collected non-perishable food items for WAFER. The 90 students gathered over 1,100 items and recently delivered the donation to WAFER, thanks to transportation provided by United Auto Supply.

“We receive such great support from our community partners, and feel it’s our duty to pay it forward to other community organizations,” said Phil Solberg, Automotive program instructor at Western. “We heard about the shortages at the food pantries and hoped that we could make a difference.”
